Current LOVE COmmunity projects
We are continually crafting and developing a portfolio of community focused projects. When a project is successfully funded, and is successfully up and running out in the community, it becomes part of our archive below.
At 'Farmerados' we believe that problems can feel a little lighter when shared with others who understand farming life. Set up in 2015 by the Somerset Mental Health in Agriculture Group, and today funded by the 'Open Mental Health Alliance', the project provides a friendly, supportive space for members of the farming community to connect, listen without judgement, and share life's experiences and challenges
Farmerados is a seedling propagated from the social movement, Camerados, first set up in 2015 to bring people together in a friendly, supportive environment to just talk and listen without judgement or being told what to do. We came across Camerados and loved the whole ethos. So much so that we thought this would be a great way for farmers to build connections and share their burdens and their knowledge to help support each other through the tough times.
'Game Changer' is an exciting, fun new project created for neurodivergent people, people with learning disabilities and autism, though is open to everyone!

It brings people together through video gaming, enabling them to connect in a safe setting, using the latest technology. 'Game Changer' is based at the Glass Box in Taunton library, the Hub Charity in Bridgwater, and Yeovil library, with more venues across Somerset to come!
